How do I get this bath caddy to work?
Recently we’ve purchased two Everloc Expressions Bath Caddies (it works with vacuum suction cups), one for each bathroom, and the installation for the first bathroom we’ve tried it on is working. However the second, not so much. I’ve followed the exact instructions as I did with the first, including on cleaning and reinstalling the suction cups and I’ve even prepped the tile, but one of the suction cups refuses to stick. Is there something that I can do to get this working again without having to buy a new caddy?
Attached is a picture of the suction cup in question and a picture of what the working one looks like.
Thanks!

Make sure both the inside of the suction cups and your window are clean and dry before application. To enhance suction and help keep the seal tight, a tiny dab of Vaseline or cooking oil may be rubbed on the rim of the cup, or dampen your fingertip with water and lightly moisten the inner rim of the suction cup.
Be sure the area you are sticking them to is spotlessly clean & dry as well as the suction cup. Wash and rewash it, then dry it.
Because the surfases may be slightly different that you are trying to apply them to, you might need a dab of help in the form of an oil or Vaseline.
Other than that, contact the manufacturer, the may have further suggestions or give you a replacement for a defective product.
I had that same problem in one of my bathrooms. The darn thing would not stick to porcelain tiles, but would stick to ceramic tiles. I found that this helped for a while.

Finally gave up.
Hi April, Robyn is right, be sure everything is clean, but also, the suction does not stick to rough surfaces, so be sure it is a smooth surface you are attaching it to. They won't stick properly over the grout .
I found this video, which gives tips on how to get a suction cup to stick to any surface: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpA0mSvrX-o
I had a similar issue with my handheld holder and ended up using alien tape to affix the suction cup. My issue was that it is a shower "kit" with fiberglass(?) walls and they will slightly move making it nearly impossible for the suction cup to do the job properly on its own.
Follow up to this and a new problem has occurred. Here’s my new post: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/repair/q-follow-up-with-yet-another-problem-concerning-bath-caddy-44397812

These actually make sense!
Perhaps try using some dish soap on the suction cup.
