Removed soaked on ink from washing machine lid
I placed a paper bag on top of my washing machine. The ink from the bag soaked onto the top of my washing machine. What can I use to remove the ink stains?

Hello,
You could try Barkeeper Friend or Vim mixed with a little water to make a paste!
Try Magic Eraser.
Hello. As your machine lid metal or plastic? That factor my influence the response. My lid is glass.
Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for a scrub should take care of it.

Spray hairspray on it.
If it is ink, anything with alcohol (including hairspray) will take up the stain. You might need to finish with a baking soda water paste.
I would use a small amount of rubbing alcohol then wipe clean with warm water
I agree with Cheryl use a little rubbing alcohol. Start with a very small amount and increase if needed. Once you’ve successfully gotten rid of the stain, wet a separate cloth or paper towel and run it over the area you just cleaned. This will help remove any lingering traces of solvent.
I would try a little nail polish remover if a magic eraser doesn't work.
Alcohol can take off the paint on the top of your washer. Acetone would do the same. Magic eraser will scratch the paint. Your best bet is to use WD40 on a paper towel let it stay wet for several minutes. wipe off. You may have to do this several times.
Hi! Have you tried prewash spray? I used to use it to remove crayon and marker when my kids were little. Good luck!
Many industrial type cleaners will remove ink. Acetone, brake cleaner, slap shot......
Factory enameled steel should be impervious to alcohol or acetone.
Start off easy and get more aggressive. 50% alcohol probably won't phase the ink, so then try 70%.
Is your washing machine a front loading machine? If so, you could put a DIY wood countertop over it: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/2885187251446706/
You could also try a Magic Eraser - but be careful. I used one on a wood kitchen table, once, and it removed some of the finish!
