    Paquette,

Your question did not come through clearly. Please edit and send again.

Do you want to cover, re-purpose, or do something else to the glass table?

    Hi,

Move the table to a line it with the centre of the doors in the middle of the room. Hope that answers your question.

  • If you don't like the look of glass anymore, the easiest fix is a pretty tablecloth.

Yes, please repost your question and thank you for the pictures. If you would like to change out your glass top, you could go to wood, or as Ann suggested, a tablecloth.

You could always paint the underside or decoupage the underside since it will not have anything wet on it.

Replace it with a wooden one. -or, you could paint it...

If you don't like it clear, you can spray frosting on the underside. Even create a pattern by placing a template and then spraying.

Is the glass top scratched? If so you could buy etching cream in Michaels or Hobby Lobby and etch the top or underside of the table. That would work better than painting. If you want to jazz the set up you could get some funky fabric and re-do the seat cushions.

The chairs look like iron, this would make a beautiful patio table.

You could paint the underside with a color you love, stripe it, or whatever. Buy working on the underneath, you won't have to worry about whatever you do wearing off from use. Just turn the top over on the base, decoupage with pictures tissue paper, napkins, etc.,, paint, etch, or whatever; let dry and then turn back upright and it's ready to use. Here's another idea....

Or stencil the underside. I am part native american and am thinking about a single feather on my table. Understated without being in your face.

I love glass topped tables and have had them for a long time. I like the way they sparkle in the light and if I want them covered, a tablecloth, doily or runner are what I use. Glass tables do scratch so you should use placemats when you eat but I still love the looks of the sparkling glass.

Beautiful beveled glass. I would consider using a tablecloth if a change is desired.

the pic @ bottom looks cozy and the top pic has more light and openness .

So It would depend on how comfortable , practical you want for your room.

Oh…And I loved the glass etching idea for your table . It would be beautiful !

Hi! I would put a runner on it with a beautiful, seasonal centerpiece. Enjoy!
