Need bedroom paint ideas please!
Hey everyone! I live in a apartment that allows us to paint we just have to return the walls to it’s original white before moving out. I am a overnight icu nurse so I am looking to make my room into my own oasis, if that makes since. I have been looking for like a seafoam green or like a baby pink for a accent wall Finding the right shade of all these grey for the other 3 walls has been a nightmare. I have at least 8 of those tester jars now. Starting to get frustrated. I’m not really into blue and I refuse to have beige lol. So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! If you also have the names of these paints too I would love that! Thanks guys! Side note my room is 14x11sq foot

Hi! Sherwin Williams and most other paint companies have apps that let you take a picture of your room and try different colors to help narrow down your choices. There is a beautiful color called Sea glass and another is Rainswept or Rainwashed that you will find in their green section. They also give you coordinating colors to help. I often narrow down my choices that way so I don't get overwhelmed by choices when I go. Another method is to find something that is the color that you are thinking of and take it to be color matched at the paint counter. Good luck!
What about finding a patterned colorful fabric you find soothing and pulling the color from there? Maybe some black out curtains with colors you love? Or a quilt? That could help narrow things down. You can upload an image of the fabric to one of the paint apps and it will tell you the colors. :)
Hi Michelle, greys are SO hard lol You think your getting a gray and you bring it home and somehow its purple or blue or green etc. Its wild! I would say grab ALL of the paint chips and stick them up on the wall. Generally our first gut instinct of what we want is a lot more bold than we expect when we bring it home and, usually, its a shade lighter and shade milder than we expect to be the one that's perfect!
One of the other answers had a good point too, have you considered not painting but instead adding curtains, bedding, rugs, pillows etc. in the colors you're looking for?
How about a pale green
SW 7108 Pink Vibernum and SW 7667 Zircon are beautiful together. But paint is very tough. Use these as a starting point and adjust for your space.
Have you looked into removable wall paper?
Narrowing down you favorite colors would be helpful.
Lighting can be can sometimes change your paint color choice. We wanted to paint it a two-story or year and chose a perceived beige tone paint and it turned out to be peach beige tone with the actual lighting.
Gray choices can be blue, purple, pink, greenish undertones.
The little sample jars could be very helpful to prevent a miscalculation and a waste of time and energy.
A few five dollar jars of paint to apply the color samples on your wall could be a good investment to narrow down your choices with your existing colors fabrics and lighting. Best wishes in your decorating adventures, sometimes making the choices is the most difficult part.
Since no budget was mentioned here is another idea:
Amazon has removable wall murals.

Any paint store or Home depot will mix any color you want.
My bedroom walls are Benjamin Moore Sherwood Green. Looked like a chalkboard color on the swatch, dreamy on the walls.
Sherwin Williams sea salt sounds like something you will like. It’s not too dark so you could paint to white easily when you leave.
What about peel and stick wallpaper?
My bedroom is painted a very light sage green. I love it Great on the eyes.
Shades of green that you're seeking, like the sea-foamy, tropical island shades are really tough. They look great on the chip at the store but you really need the right natural light for them to work. The very palest of shades might be better as well as be easier to paint back to white, then accessorize around to build that oasis you deserve.
Home Depot and paint swatches thousands of them you will find your color there p.s I seen a pretty pink room with med blue trim it was stunning
Have you take I consideration using peel and stick wallpaper? But with terms with green shade, I would prefer to go with the palest one.
Hey Michelle:
Maybe you should try some Peel & Stick wallpaper. It's super easy to install and easy to uninstall.
