Spray your sinks and drains with Simple Green. It kills them. Repeat daily for a week. Do all the drains. Be sure you have no fruit sitting out uncovered. Repeat drain spray in all drain once a week for maintenance. Simple Green is a disinfectant and deodorizer but is non toxic to humans. I use it for all my cleaning. Get it in concentration at Walmart in the auto/boat/camp section. Get it in spray OR concentrate at other home improvement like Menards.
House Gnats
Hi Sandee, lure and kill gnats with a mixture of apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and dish soap. (Alternatively, achieve the same result simply by combining red wine and dish soap.) Pour diluted bleach down the sink or tub drain, if you find gnats hovering near plumbing fixtures
Hope this helps you out
You can make a trap using apple cider vinegar. Just mix half cup of warm water plus two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon of sugar, and about six drops of liquid dish soap. These gnats are attracted in by the sugary mixture, but once they dip in for a drink, the sticky dish soap will trap them.
Try apple cider vinager 2 tablespoons in a bowl and in the middle squirt 2 drops of dish soap don’t mix it just leave it on the counter and it wil catch knats once a week change the cider out

Hi! I just put a small bowl with apple cider vinegar, water and a squirt of dish detergent. When it gets sludgy looking, change it. Works every time.
You can make a fruit fly trap. Cut a plastic bottle about 2/3 of the way up. Remove the screw top lid. Squirt a little dish soap in the bottom, add 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 Tbsp sugar, 1/2 cup warm water (dissolve the sugar). Place the top inverted into the bottom. They will fly into the neck to get at the solution but won't be able to escape.

I purchased a small bug catcher that gets plugged in and at night you leave it on in the kitchen and turn off all lights they will go to that and all will be gone in the morning you have to leave on 24/7 so the cycle will keep killing
I had a terrible gnat problem and the vinegar traps worked perfectly! Simply place a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, a few drops of dish soap, and a tablespoon of sugar in a bowl and stir. Set your bowl in an area where gnats are prevalent, such as your kitchen or bathroom. This took care of my problem in just a couple of days!
