Foyer Cabinet- Made From Someone's Discarded Materials

We designed something unique, resourceful, colorful and personal to welcome people as soon as they enter our home.
I found this discarded door and built my design around it. We used scrap wood, a variety of paints, stains and decorative accents.
Built from scrap wood to meet the specs of my entry way. I sanded the rough edges, but left some character.
Adding special touches like this hand painted knob, really enhance the design.
Our final product is filled with treasures from our home and some practical uses also...like the little basket for my dog's leash and treats.
This bright colored apple and bronzed pear are perfect companions on my shelf. They add color, vibrance and a mix of luxury with the rustic wood.
