Firewood Pumpkins

I love all things nature. I have always had out of the box ideas. Firewood is a valuable commodity here in the north country, and I needed a fresh spin for the Fall season. With just some paint and driftwood pieces I found that spin I was looking for.
I lightly sanded each side and drilled a large hole on the top after I found which way it stood up the best.
Painted each side, then brushed with some antiquing gel lightly. I stenciled the sayings, and then hot glued the driftwood stems in the hole and tied with raffia.
