Easy Rustic Arrow String Art

I've always wanted to try string art, but never gave it a shot. Well, I finally decided to. It was SO fun to create this piece of art, and was really easy to make! You should take a "whack" at it yourself! ;)
First, I stained a piece of wood. I used a stain I had already made from another project, then added a clear sealer.
Then I printed out a couple arrow shapes, and arranged them on my wood where I wanted them. My wood was quite large, so I had to cut the arrows out individually. Otherwise, they'd be too small!
I started hammering away at the nail. This took about an hour, but it wasn't difficult. After all nails were in, I ripped off the paper below.
I used crochet string to go around each nail. I just made sure every nail had string around it at least once.
And, finished! I love how it turned out, and it'll look great on our gallery wall! Come see more details on how I made it at my blog!
