Reposhture Studio - Kim on Aug 18, 2013If the veneer is bad then I usually fill it in with Bondo, an automotive filler that is much better than wood filler in my opinion, sand it down and paint over it. Here is a link to show you how I do it. http://reposhture.blogspot.com/2013/04/how-to-fix-missing-moulding.html The Bondo instructions are about half way down the post. It is very easy to work with and sands up great. Just prime it after wards to make the paint look uniform on the whole piece.
