Brocante Living Room

Victoria Kirton
by Victoria Kirton
Almost every piece of furniture in our home is either from a flea market or picked up from side of the street. I love reupholstering and painting furniture. Our living room is a forever changing space.
The settee is a craigslist find that I painted both the frame and the fabric.
Here is an antique crib loved by creatures of all sizes. I picked up the blue velvet chair from side of the street. It used to be orange but I reupholstered it with this gorgeous velvet.
Old suitcases and wooden crates become end tables and coffee tables.
Both the dresser and chairs were loved with paints and new fabric.
The French daybed used to be a foot board that I rebuilt and upholstered...along with this little footstool.

@Debb Lewis Hello! I used 50/50 water and Annie Sloan chalk paint in Old White. You can read the tutorial on the blog post.
