Table Makeover

When I decorated my friend's porch for Fall, I gave her table a makeover. Originally, it was just a plain dark wood stained table. It had plenty of character from years of love but it was tired and needed some sprucing.
Normally, if you are going to paint a piece of furniture, you just need to rough up the surface to give the paint something to adhere to.
I primed and painted the underside of the table first with two coats of paint. Then I turned the table over and primed and painted the top.
Painting the bottom first helps protect the top of the table from marks/ scratches on the finish.
I used the new line of paint from Cari Cucksey: RePurpose Chroma Color ReColor Paint in Mohair Blue (that’s a mouthful). It is available online.
