Free Holiday Floral Arrangement

Remember I mentioned my friend was here visiting over the weekend? Well besides cooking and thrift shopping, she can make a fabulous free holiday floral arrangement out of things from my yard. I guess it’s living in Lake Tahoe and having a lot more access to natural elements mixed with some awesome creativity.
In front, we have two cedar trees and the lacy branches smell so good when you put them in water. Who knew…lol.
So she walked around my yard and said “Lisa there are so many things here you should use.”
Then she pointed out how many things you can do with bark too. There is lots of it and it peels right off.
On the side of our house is a bush that has these pretty little blue berries on it. And in the back yard are some orange berries too.
So she grabbed a pumpkin soup toureen being that it would be pretty for Thanksgiving, and of course you can use anything an urn, a vase, a trophy etc.
First we layered in the bark.
Then we layered the cedar.
Then we added the berries and the pine cones and we added one of my acorn salt shakers too.
Voila!!! Holiday Floral Arrangement for free. I’m definitely going to look around to see what else I can create and what’s great is you can do things like this and add in your beautiful roses or other florals too. If you like florals come on over to my blog where I share a boat load more along with recipes and our home tour and lots of easy Diy. Love to see you there. Have a great day, Lisa.
