Stenciled Washer & Dryer

Since I can't afford a new fancy Washer & Dryer for my Laundry Room, instead I decided to give a little makeover to my old set using a stencil from Royal Design Studio.
I centered the thick plastic stencil on the front of my dryer and stuck it in place with some painter's tape. I then used a little cabinet and trim roller to apply my paint. Finish it off with a coat of clear polyurethane and the makeover is complete!

I'd use a latex based house paint for this project

I would use a paint designed for metal. Use a fine grit sandpaper to rough up the surface. Rustoleum makes a great metal primer. With the primer you can use any type of paint. I have had paint peel off of metal without the prep and primer.
