Even though I'm not hosting Thanksgiving this year, I still like to have some sort of Thanksgiving decor. I'd been saving tin-cans for awhile, and I wanted to do something fun with them. So, I turned them into beautiful gold luminaries for my entryway table!
First, I cleaned the cans and took off the paper. Then I wrote on letters on each can.
Then, I used a hammer and a nail and just poked holes along the letter in each can. I spray painted them with a gold metallic spray paint.
I added some leaves and twine to the tops of them, and I have myself some pretty tin-can luminaries! They look absolutely gorgeous lit up in my entryway.
Come check out the tutorial on my blog for more detailed instructions!
