A Novel Idea - Before and After Dresser

What I love about it? The clean lines and the fact that is so spacious you can put all you clothes in one dresser. The front is coverd in pages of a children`s french book and the rest is white eco water based paint.

Cllectors edition dresser is the name of the story I made up for the dresser because I truly imagined this in the space of a traveller and collector of tangible memories, each with it`s own tale of the past. It was meant for a very special place and it ended up in such a space, a space that has travelers day and night, a with more than 10 nationalities, caracters and styles, with gifts and souvenirs from 3 continents!

Started with the sanding process as usual to really get as much of the veener out. Then went the primer and the first coat of white water based paint. After 6 hours I put another coat and after another 2 hours a final very thin one with a roller (that is kinda my secret to getting such a smooth finish to all my dressers). The doors are covered with the pages of a french book, for each page I put o coat of glue and then stick it on. Once the final canvas was ready I went ahead and applied a nice coat of translucid stain. That is all and I hope I did a good job.
