Glitter and Felt Circle Ornament
I participated in an ornament swap and my partner mentioned she loved the color blue and she also loved glitter (glitter isn't for everyone, so I'm glad she gave me free reign to use it!)
Felt circles ready to become an ornament!
I cut 4 different shades of blue felt into circles (about the size of a nickel) - probably about 20 of each color. I dipped the bottom of the circles in Mod Podge and then dipped them in glitter.
I fired up the hot glue gun and glued them onto an ornament like this (purchased at a craft store). I dipped both ends in Mod Podge and glitter so the paper mache wouldn't show. I layered the colors one on top of the other.
The finished ornament! My swap partner loved it (and now I want to make more for myself!) It probably took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and I was with friends when I made it, so it wasn't 45 minutes of pure concentration!
