What to do with old sheets or old fabric you might have kicking around? Get your Christmas on and turn it into a fun light garland! No expertise required. Just rip your fabric into thin strips about 5 inches long and tie them individually around a strand of LED (low heat) lights.
This sad sheet had a tear in it from the wash... literally in the shape of a sad frowny face.
I ripped it into this thin strips.
It takes a lot of strips...
And found this strand of LED lights at the drugstore. LED is nice because it's low heat so no worry or concern about the fabric.
Individually tie each one around the wire of the strand of lights. Super simple.
Some years we hang this on the tree and other years we decorate a doorway or mantel or staircase railing with it.
Scraps, anyone?
Enjoyed the project?
