Decorating The Front Porch

I have all sorts of dreamy Christmas ideas for this 100 year old front porch but for this first year I am just using what I have. I tried to find a couple of things but decided I was feeling too rushed so I'm going to do some after Christmas sale shopping for next year.
The good news...I didn't spend much money and it still looks warm and cozy!
Wrapped presents on the front porch with my fabulous wrapping paper I found at Target.
Lanterns with remote control candles from Costco are always a good idea. These shots were taken in the early morning hours of a rainy day. So happy I have a covered front porch.
My rustic deer head was purchased from Decor Steals before we moved from Arizona. This is the first chance I've had to display it. Oh yeah...it's a keeper!!!
On the other side of the front porch sits a vintage chair with a couple of stacked crates. I have visions of a future bench dancing in my head. Now I just need to have them dance on over to my husbands head. Heehee!
A sign I painted using a left over piece of barn wood I found in the back of my brother's barn.
I'm still looking for the perfect trees to fit in the olive buckets that flank either side of our front door. Probably won't happen this year but that's OK, the olive buckets alone still fit into my simple, rustic theme this year.
