Winter Chalkboard Paint Window Project

If you look at my posts, you'll see this same window showing up again and again. For Winter 2015, it's all about snow.
It's so simple. These old windows are found at antique dealers and flea markets. They are plentiful and cheap. Usually $5-$10. There's no difficult instructions. Just tape the wood and spraypaint the glass with the Chalkboard Paint. Then...grab your chalk. I used Chalk Ink. It's more expensive but much easier to work with than other brands. I've not found it in stores -- only on Amazon.
This is my version of a snowflake. Use your imagination!
No that is not Grr. It's Brr. Remember...it's winter and this is a snowy day project!
This is an easy, quick project at a time when the room seems bare. Christmas is put away. The house is clean and a little sterile. Something like this Winter Chalkboard Paint Window Project is just the ticket.

Eva Barker Beaule on Feb 28, 2015No...it looks good. Happy Valentine's Day is what it says to me!! Did I tell you I use Chalk Ink because it does not run and it is whiter than regular chalk? I can't find it anywhere but Amazon, but it is the ROCK STAR of writing on chalkboards and it lasts forever.
