Inexpensive Wine Charms DIY

Last fall we were just really beginning the blogging adventure of blogging about tutorials OTHER than what to do with our products. (If you're new to us you should know we sell craft supplies for a living, so there were LOTS of headband tutorials on our blog before :) )
We were hoping to inspire people to think of our supplies as being usable for something OTHER than hair accessories. Wine Charms it is! I turned to my favorite happy place for some help.

You'll need the earrings pictured below from JoAnn's jewelry section. We sell the buttons on our website (www.fleuristesupplies.com). The thing I love about the buttons is they're totally interchangeable with the holiday etc, and they only cost .98c each. Plus if for some reason you need more than $30 worth of ANYTHING in our shop you can enter a coupon code at checkout for 20% off....so fun.
On our site unless its listed as a "flatback" all of our buttons have a small shank as shown below.
Literally all you need to do is open one of the earrings, slide the earring through the shank on the button....and done. That's it guys. It will take you longer to go get the earrings than to do the actual craft. I keep a small container of buttons in my drop drawer in the butler's pantry so people can pick their charm and make it themselves when we host parties!
What do you guys think???
