Fishing Lure Keepsake

My son and I put this together from some old fishing lures he found, wood boxes that my dad made by hand, some gold foam board, wire and wood glue.
A bunch of old fishing lures that my son found in an old barn.
My Dad spent his retirement time making these small (various sizes) wood boxes. He would cut 2 x 4's into thin slats to make a variety of boxes.
Placing the boxes in a pattern we liked, we then cut out gold foam board to fit each box. We then used wire to adhere the lures onto each piece of foam board before placing inside each box. A piece of plywood was cut out to fit the shape of the entire collage and then we glued the boxes onto the plywood using wood glue. Let it dry for 24 hours, placed a strong wire hanger on the back and hung it on the wall.
