Farmhouse Easter Mantel Using an Old Chippy Window

An mantel gets a springtime look with a cleaned up chippy, re-purposed window and a preserved boxwood wreath. Elbow grease and a little window cleaner go a long, long way to adding a little farmhouse magic to the springtime mantel.
An old chippy window takes center stage after getting a good cleaning.
The old window started out super dirty and full of cob webs...
A good cleaning with warm water and soap helped... and finally window cleaner.
Clean and bright and ready for the family room...
Using a preserved boxwood wreath.... I purchased mine from Target.
First, I hung the window on the wall, making sure it was secure and then used a 3M Command Strip to hand the wreath onto the window.
Layering a few more Springtime and Easter items and the mantel is nearly complete.
