How to Watercolor Paint on Fabric - and Make It Into a Pillow!

I have a recent obsession with watercolor. I really wanted to find some fabric which featured these beautiful blended stokes of paint, but they were hard to come by. Being the DIY'er that I am, I wondered if it were possible to create my own watercolor pattern on white fabric.
After some experimentation, I discovered a way to use ordinary watercolor paints on fabric, for amazingly beautiful results!
My one-of-a-kind fabric made stunning pillows for our porch swing.
It's as easy as wetting your paints . . .
. . . and painting on your fabric. Then you add a "secret ingredient" to blend and make the paint stay on the fabric while using and washing.
After that, you can sew up a simple envelope closure pillow, with my step-by-step tutorial. All the juicy details found here:
