Yarn Wrapped Eggs

Wrapping eggs with yarn is not a new or even original idea. But this year I decided to make some for our Spring decor anyway. I decided to use some twine and some yarns that I had on hand that fit into our color scheme.
Wrapping eggs is easy and I did it in one evening while watching TV. You start in the center end of a Styrofoam or plastic egg with a dot of hot glue, apply your yarn and keep adding glue and yarn as you wind around the egg.
Just keep winding. So simple.
Such a simple project with such a pretty outcome.
I used some twine for the brown one, an ombre yarn for the blue stripe ones and the other three were done with a varigated yarn I picked up at store - all those colors on one skein. Such a variety and I used only what I had on hand. For more details please visit the link below.
