Let's Make Yarn Art!

3 Hours
Easy
A super easy yarn art project that takes so little time and cash -- it's a perfect way to custom fill any space in your home!
The great thing about making your own art is, well, you. It can be anything you want, however you want. And it doesn't have to be difficult or complicated. This yarn art project is super easy.
You just need a few supplies, supplies you most likely have on hand. Here I used a piece of conduit, yarn, twine and foam balls. Come check out my blog, Flipping the Flip, at humboldtartdept.blogspot.com for all the nitty gritty details.
Start by cutting lengths of yarn and looping them onto your bar of choice! I used a larks head knot then a regular knot to keep the yarn from loosening.
Once I had the conduit filled, I researched some macrame knots and made a few very simple ones.
Covered some foam balls in twine for added texture...
...hung them on, gave the bottom a trim, and voila....
Yarn art! Super simple! Come read all about it on my blog by clicking the link below!
