Easy Backyard Fire Pit {In Less Than 30 Minutes}

With a cast iron fire bowl & some rock work we created a simple backyard fire pit in less than 30 minutes.
This is the before. About 10k square feet of grass. We chose a fire safe spot away from structures & foliage. Leaving enough room to add seating later.
A little weed stop for our sanity later. Then the rocks. We used leftover rocks from the rest of our landscaping. But for this - we could have picked up enough for this project for under $25.
Here's the finished project. Fire safe underneath (no grass fires from dry dead grass) Shows that you can pack a bigger punch with your store bought fire pit with just a little added rock & a few minutes.
