Enjoy these maintenance free lighting and these glass gems not only act as a weight to keep the spring winds from blowing them away, they reflect the light.
New solar lights can be purchased for less than $10 and used in this project. To see the full tutorial click on the link below I made these gorgeous patio table lights. It's a perfect soft light that charges up during our summer days and lights up the night. I have several around the Ranch house on patio tables and even the BBQ pit! All made for less than you would believe!

To those looking for directions it looks like she took the post off the light or sawed it off and then glued the bottom lamp ring to the canning jar lid ring. I would use E-6-000 or use a silicone waterproof caulking or glue to attach the lamp to the canning jar lid ring since it will be used outside. You can then fill the glass canning jar with glass pebbles from the dollar store and screw on the lid. Seems to be easy peasy :)
