Ideas for Adding Paints & Patinas to Create a Colorful Garden
by

Spring and Summer is a perfect time to get your garden blooming with color, and not only with beautiful floral decor and landscaping! You can also use paints and patinas to enliven your garden and exteriors.
Patinas work perfectly in a garden and many everyday objects can be created to help color your garden. Can you believe this started as a bowling ball? Decorative Artist Allyce Lees textured the embossed swirl design with our Modern Masters Texture Effects and used the Modern Masters Iron Reactive Paint and the Rust Activator from our Metal Effects line to patinate it.
Tara from the Suburble blog patinated an iron garden bench with our Modern Masters Metal Effects line, too! She used the Copper Reactive Metallic Paint and the Blue Patina Aging Solution for this stunning transformation.
Country Living magazine featured our Modern Masters Designer Stencil Collection when they painted and transformed plain concrete patio stone. Isn't this a great idea?

Z on Aug 29, 2015I can't wait to do this to some of my hubby's two dozen old bowling balls for the garden between the house and sidewalk. I think he'll like these! Too bad he doesn't have enough golf balls for mulch. ;^D You'd have to know my hubby to understand that one.
