I just wanted to share another denim quilt that I recently finished. If you are interested in some of the techniques that I used on this quilt you can find a couple of links to tutorials in my blog at http://dragonfliesandlillypads.blogspot.com/2015/03/finish-attempts-at-new-techniques-and.html
The finished quilt,
One of the hearts made from the seams of old used jeans
This is one of the pictures of a rolled or scalloped border technique that is new to me but I was pleased with how it turned out and the link in my blog will take you to the blog where I found the instructions. I thought the instructions were really good and I was able to nail it the first time that I tried.
I found buttons at my local wal-mart in bulk and I was really please with how this particular heart turned out.
Another one of the denim angels that I mentioned in my previous post,
More hearts to this quilt.
Just one of the pockets and I always leave these open and unquilted.
Just some close ups of some of the blocks.
A close up of the rolled or scalloped border and mitered corner.
Another close up of the rolled or scalloped border and mitered corner.
Enjoyed the project?
