Patriotic Red, White and Blue Table Decor

15-20 Minutes

Coloring rice is my go to for creating quick and easy table decor.
It's inexpensive and doesn't take any skill.
I've filled jars with stripes of red, white and blue for both Memorial Day and 4th of July.
Poke a votive candle in the center and you've created an instant decoration.
Visit the original post for the supply list and tutorial.
This one I used white dried beans instead of white rice to create the white stripe.
I love the different texture it offers.
This craft project is easy enough to let the little kids help or allow the older kids to take over! Simple and cute, just how I love it!

I have done this with the very small star shaped pasta (the kind you would use for soup). The dyed pasta could also be strung (keeps the little ones busy)
