Using stain and DIY chalk paint, I transformed a simple round brown table into an American Flag Inspired Coffee Table! For the full DIY details, please visit my blog @ http://countrydesignhome.com/2015/05/28/american-flag-coffee-table/
Started with a plain brown table that had seen better days that we picked up at a flea market for $5. I painted the legs with Heritage Blue Stain by General Finishes.
Using painter's tape, I taped off the stripes.
First I painted the red stripes and the blue star field.
Then I taped over the red stripes and added the white.
Next step was to stencil the stars onto the blue star field in a pleasing pattern. No way I was going to fit all 50!
Sanded it down and added a natural stain finish.
The completed table! For all the details, please visit my blog @ http://countrydesignhome.com/2015/05/28/american-flag-coffee-table/
