Outside Lighting : Soda Bottle Torch

Here's another Soda Bottle upcycle! They made great outside lighting torches! Great for home or group events or kid parties!
SUPPLIES
Cut your bottle with a knife about 2" to 3" high.
Hot glue the lid on top of the dowel as this gives it some added stability.
Decorate your dowel with Washi tape or paint.
Hot glue the bottle bottom to the lid on your dowel.
If your soda bottle if completely flat on the bottom you can just sit your battery operated tea light into it. Mine was raised a little so I added a tiny dob of glue to hold it in the center. It pops off easily. Make a hole in soft ground in your yard to place your dowel. You can also sharpen the bottom of the dowel if desired. LOTS MORE PICS AND DIRECTIONS ON MY POST BELOW.

Beverly Parks on Jan 18, 2017I would use the part of the plastic bottle with the lid and glue or screw the lid upside down to the dowell. Then you could screw the bottle directly in the cap.

Hi for ideas on where you can get tea lights, or glue sticks look at your dollar store, Dollarama, or drug store such as Shoppers Drug Mart or even look where they sell Christmas decorations or Halloween decorations, especially where it is closer to end of the holiday, then you can get them on sale, otherwise you can buy them at full price which are not that expensive either. Or even at the Bargain shop too.
