Coffee Cup Turned Pin Cushion For Sewing/Craft Room

I love to collect tea cups! I found this lovely set at Home Goods on the clearance shelf. I fell in love with rose flower design.
With floral foam and batting, I cut and covered to fit inside of cup. I used hot glue to seal batting to the foam. To give my cushion a more shabby chic look, a vintage doily was applied to the outside of the insert, making sure it is centered. With your hot glue gun, apply a generous amount of hot glue to the bottom inside of cup. Insert. Press down.
Hot glue can be applied If loose at the top around the lip of the cup.
Finished product- and it only takes minutes to make. This is a piece that can be placed near your sewing machine, crafting area or even on a coffee table.

Love this idea! Vintage cups are not worth anything anymore. Thinking of turning mine into something like this for upcoming holiday gifts. Thanks so much for the idea!
