DIY Anchor Sign

I teamed up with FloraCraft to put together a fun piece of summer home decor and I'm in love with the result! Can you believe this is FOAM?
I started with 2 - 2" thick pieces of foam. I sketched an anchor design that took up both sheets of foam, then used my StyroCutter Plus to carefully cut the shape from the foam. I then had to use Foam Connectors to attach both sheets together to make the complete anchor.
After applying Smooth Finish and allowing it to dry completely, I lightly sanded the anchor to smooth some of the edges, then it was time to paint.
I applied navy and white paint until I had the rustic/weathered look I wanted and allowed it to dry.
Finally, I tied rope around the neck of my anchor to make it look more authentic.
I love how it turned out, don't you?! So fun!
