5 Minute DIY Gold Striped Vase

Make your own gold striped vase with some painters tape and gold spray paint. It takes less than five minutes from start to finish.
I bought these little white vases from a local grocery store for $5 last spring but I thought they needed a little something.
I took them to the garage and wrapped painters tape around the bottom and then at equal intervals on the vase until I reached the top. I used the width of the tape to determine the width of the stripes. No measuring needed, just apply the tape in a straight line from end to end.
Wipe with a little rubbing alcohol and let dry before spraying with primer to give the paint something to grip. Once the primer is dry, spray with gold spray paint and remove the tape. Visit our site for more details and other easy DIY projects.
