How Well Do Painted Faucets Hold Up?

Four years ago I painted the faucets in our budget friendly guest bathroom makeover. These get light use every day. Wear is minimal. Touching up is easy.

Minimal wear (in fact I show wear on the spout but after a little more intense cleaning, I discovered that was toothpaste. I've very delicate with cleaning over the last four years.)
