Using Canvases for a Headboard

I have plans to some day build or buy a headboard, but I wanted something to give the wall behind my bed a finished look. Here's what I did and it cost next to nothing!
I already had three 16 x 20 canvases (I usually pick these up when they're on a good sale). I was given some fabric that just happened to match the colors in my bedroom - how lucky was that!
I simply wrapped the fabric around each of the canvases, stapled it in place and then hung them over the bed, where a headboard would be.
I wasn't sure I would like it, but I love it. I'll still make a "real" headboard some day, but now it can wait a little longer!
