MCM Accent Table - Upcycle!

On a trip back home to see my family, I found these side tables in a small town, knowing that they could be restored to find their beauty!
These tables are AVAILABLE for purchase in the Vancouver area! Please contact me via Instagram Or though my website!
Im trying to be more of a plant person! So I felt these were the perfect pieces to feature some plant babies 🌱
Before sanding
I wasn’t sure what lay beneath the original stain, I was hoping to return stain all of it, but under a few spots was particle board covered veneer, so the parts I ended up painting white we’re not able to be stained.
I used minwax provincial stain on the legs!
I taped off the legs once they were dry so when I went to prime the tops I didn’t get paint or primer on my stained legs!
After I primed I painted the tops! I used Canadian tire’s premier furniture paint X3 coats.
After the paint dried I removed the tape! And then top coated everything with varathane’s satin water-based top coat.
These were a blast to stage! I absolutely love how they turned out!
These tables have endless possibilities of what they could be used for! But I do love them for plants ;)
Both of these items are from the dollarstore! Who says decor has to be pricey.

They look smashing! Great job. I love the contrast of the white painted surface and the wood tone. Nice, really nice.
