I was given this IKEA table some time ago. I always thought I would paint it into an artist palette because of its shape and the holder. But I'm redoing my craft room with a BOHO theme so I had another idea.
IKEA table
First I sanded it lightly and cleaned it off with a damp paper towel

I set out all my colors and created my own palettes. As I painted I eventually added some more colors These were mostly Martha Stewart paints but all acrylic

I am not an artist. I can barely draw a stick figure! But the one thing I love about BOHO is it's a tad messy and bright and fun and I just wanted to have fun with this. I will say that as time went on it got much simpler and I had so much fun with it. Is it perfect? No. But neither is BOHO and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.
Finished!

Hi Ann, I saw in another post you have a circa 1994 Pier 1 tiled table and matching buffet. Might you want to sell them?

    Thanks, Paul
