A dresser or shelves?
My husband and I are going to reorganize our bedroom, but we got stuck with a question, dresser or shelves. I am trying to go minimalist, but I don't have any idea where to start.

Hi Irene, my personal preference is a dresser, since I'm not the best at folding my clothes up neatly and properly. Here's a whole bunch of minimalist bedroom ideas that may inspire you - https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/minimalist-bedroom-ideas-257254
Hi Irene,
This link might help you with your decision:

I think shelves in a closet are a great idea. You can fold and see everything. Small items like socks can be stored in a bin on a shelf.
Hello. A personal design decision and the disciple to fold and have neat shelf display might be required . Looking over visual ideas on Houzz or Pinterest might help impact your decision
I’d vote dresser. Especially if you lean minimalist. Shelves will show everything and need to be tidied constantly. Not to mention dusting!
shelves if out in the open will show all your clothes, socks, etc. it is about personal preference - I prefer to have my items out of sight and a messy drawer is closed where a shelf shows everything lol
Hello Irene, either way will work just fine. I like shelves because the items are easily seen but does take some discipline to keep shelved items looking tidy. Drawers can be messy and still present an nice outside appearance. :) I have both and find that I use the items on the shelves more often as the old saying adage says...."outta sight, outta mind". Maybe you can do a mix!!
Seems like personal preference. I am a neat freak so I would go with a dresser simply because you stuff isn't on display for the world to see. The items don't have to be neatly folded or dusted.
It depends on what you’re looking to store, your style, and your willingness to see everything out in the open or would prefer things hidden out of view. Take a look at various photos of both storage options via a Google image search or Pinterest, that should help you narrow your direction.
If you lean towards a minimalist style, I would go with a dresser. Shelvese would need to constantly cleaned.
If floor space is limited, shelves. If not, I would go with dresser or chest of drawers. I have a few shelves in my closet for shoes and a bin for my underwear. I like it better than drawers.
I would keep the dresser. I know looking at shelves with clothes placed on it would drive me nuts.
Hi Irene, it's a matter of personal taste, if you want to keep the look less cluttered I would go with a dresser, the closed drawers look clean and sleek
Both you will need a dresser for under wear socks ,dresser for tops shorts skirts shelfs for pants sweats .maybe share a dresser for more space
What do you like better shelves or dresser how much room you have
Get a Plan Dresser as Shelves will always look cluttered, untidy.
