I think a different shade would be a fun way to mix things up a bit and add more interest!
I like the idea of different shade. You can also add a different texture by adding a rug with contrasting fabric perhaps a natural rug to add warmth to the area.
I would go with a patterned rug that contains a little of the other 2 and put it between them.
I don't see why not, can you put that area over to another side of the room? I think if they are in the same family, anything goes! It is your home, make yourself happy!
sure just mix and match whatever you like and whatever goes with your furniture....
What a great idea, just choose colors that are a complement to the decor and the other 2 rugs. I would suggest a similar texture to keep cohesion, a rug that looks like it does not belong there, looks just like that.
Sure you can put a different color in your bedroom. Make it a fun color, maybe a color that is in your quilt or bedspread. Have fun with it.
