Master SWEET Makeover
Before this master bedroom was dark, dank and thrown together. The bed side tables are too small to flank a king size bed. The bedding does not fit and looks sloppy.
Now the room is va-va-voom! The room has a cohesive color scheme. The bed side chests are in proportion to the king sized bed. The bedding is from Bed Bath & Beyond. It needs to be washable to accommodate the kids and dogs.
This sitting are feels like your waiting at a doctors office with the furniture lined up along the walls.
The over sized chairs and round ottoman welcome you into the room. The large white- washed cabinet balances the king sized bed on the opposite wall. It also provides a spot to display personal items and more storage space.
The dark headboard overpowers the room. The window treatments are drab and the bedding is too small.
The curved headboard makes a statement. Kids and dogs live here so the rails of the bed are a cream "pleather" - they can be wiped down. The headboard is a cream linen fabric. The cowhide bench adds an organic quality. The black and white window treatments cuts the preciousness in the room.
Can you believe it's the same room?
