For my woodworking I use pallet wood, and there are endless projects you can come up with. Using my go-to Pallet wood, I decided to create a new wine rack. Here is how I did it:
First, I cut the wood into pieces in the sizes I needed. I needed to figure out the design I would go for. I decided I wanted the wine rack to not only hold wine bottles, but also to hold wine glasses!
Then I measured the piece that I would use for the top of the wine rack. I made it longer so that I can add wine glass holders on each end. I used a quart size paint can to measure and I cut out all of the slots for the wine bottles to fit.
Then I stained the wood a nice black ebony. As you can see the grains show which is the look I was going for. I am really happy with how the finished product came out.
The rack has a really nice rugged look. Then I added the glasses and bottles for display
There you have it! An elegant wine rack that holds bottles and glasses.
And it came out nice! There are endless options for this project!
