Wet & Forget Shower cleaner is a once-a-week shower cleaner.

One of the things we like to do is to test new products (or new to us) to determine if they have value for others. This post is all about testing one of those products. We had previously used Wet & Forget Outdoors on the siding of Steph's house with good results and decided to try out their indoor shower product.

A little backstory. Steph DOES NOT like to clean so she has been researching options for keeping her shower clean without scrubbing. That's how she happened upon Wet & Forget Shower.

For your convenience, there are links to the products we use in our projects from Amazon as well as The Home Depot, Wall Control. (Mother Daughter Projects is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and links to Amazon.)

Does it work? Check out the video and find out or read on.

So this is where we are starting. Lots of grime, soap scum buildup and so much water spotting on the door that you can barely see through it!

This is what Steph has been using in her shower for a year. The video will show you how to add the spray nozzle to the top. The tubing for the sprayer is tucked up into the handle--it's a pretty cool design!

So, how does it work? After you shower and the walls are wet, spray it on all the surfaces you want to clean. Just like the Wet & Forget Outdoor product, this one works to clean over time. It is not going to clean on contact.

Spray it on and then rinse it off within 24 hours. Be sure it's rinsed before taking a shower to prevent any possible slipping.

According to the manufacturer's instructions it can be sprayed on tile, surrounds, and glass. But to be safe, make sure the product is compatible your shower enclosure materials. Now, take a look at the AFTER of this view...

Here's the AFTER. Much better.

Ready for more. Let's take a look at the AFTER of this view...

Here's the AFTER of this corner. (That chalking around the aluminum will be getting replaced in the near future!)

Okay, so not everything cleaned up as well as the walls and glass. This bit of mold and mildew is very stubborn. Wet & Forget has a mold and mildew product that we will be trying.

Wet & Forget shower is available in stores and online.

You can also use a handheld shower sprayer to wet down the walls as well. Steph replaced her shower head with this just for that purpose (and to be able to wash the dog)!

According to the Wet & Forget shower cleaner instructions, you may need to do a thorough cleaning of your shower if it is very dirty or you have significant water spotting on the glass. Once cleaned, the Wet & Forget works to keep things clean.
