Soaking in vinegar should work. If the glass is etched from a dishwasher nothing much you can do.
Submerge the glasses in a sinkful of 50/50 water and white vinegar. Let soak for 20-30 minutes or longer, if convenient. Rinse well and dry with a cotton or microfiber cloth.
Sprinkle about a teaspoon of baking soda in each and then add a splash of white vinegar. Will make a foam. Use a paper towel to wipe the film off of each with the foam. Be sure to rinse well.
Soak in white vinegar.
However, they may be etched and if that is the case it will look like a white film but it is actually damage to the glasses which can't be undone.

If the film is from a dishwasher it may be etching, and you cannot get that off.
I rinse with vinegar and make sure my dishwasher has jet dry in it.
Hi Judy, soak the glasses in plain white distilled vinegar for about 20 minutes and then rinse under hot water.
Polident denture tablets works.
CLR works great on hard water marks
Soak in white vinegar and dawn. If that does not help the glasses may be etched from the dishwasher and sorry to say you cannot get that off.
You can get the cloudy film off your glassware with a good soak in white vinegar and water solution, or by soaking a soft dishcloth in vinegar and using a little elbow grease to wipe down the cloudy glassware. Soak the glasses for 30 minutes and then rinse them with warm water.O
