Hello, I tend to use a soapy water Dawn solution for mild weekly cleaning and Murphy’s oil soap for more moderete cleaning jobs. Murphy's oil soap is an excellent all purpose wood cleaner.
For greasy kitchen cabsInents -I would suggest Krud Kutter

I always start with Murphy's Oil Soap.
My choice is also Murphy's oil in a weak dilution.
Elbow grease with Dawn and clean rags. Rinse and scrub gently. This should work. I also use Murphy’s oil soap.
I hope your cabinets come out nice and clean for you.
I use a product called cabinet magic,it is a cleaner and polisher all in one available at Home Depot.
Murphys oil soap works great. Will remove greasy build up without damage to the surface. You may want to rethink using TSP. Although it will clean it if not propery used can damage the surface of the finish.
MURPHYS IS GREAT ALSO PLEDGE FLOOR CARE IT IS GREAT FORSEALED WOOD AND LAMINATE LOTS OF SURFACES. I PUT THE PLEDGE FLOOR CARE FINISH ON MY OLD CABINET TO MAKE THEM SHINE AND IT CLEANS BETTER
Best thing is some dawn, Magic eraser and a steam cleaner. Good Luck
TSP, trisodium phosphate.
Murphy oil soap in warm water is for cleaning wood furniture...used it for 40 years...
1 part linseed oil and 3 parts mineral spirits. Place in a glass jar stir well, take a cleaning rag, rub on cabinets. Use another cleaning rag and rub off excess to a beautiful shine. You won't be disappointed. Stir mixture throughout.
I have been doing this process for over 40 years. I do my cabinets once a year and they still look like new.
I clean mine with Old English furniture polish. It cleans and restores the wood too. If they are very dirty wash with mild soap and warm water and rag first. Old English comes in dark or light. Yours would probably take light. HOpe this helps.
I use dawn soap and warm water, dry off quickly. Others use Murphy's Oil Soap.
Remember to treat kitchen cabinets like wood furniture and use water sparingly. Clean with a furniture dusting spray, I prefer OrangeGlo. For build up removal mix a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide that you scrub with a soft child's toothbrush.
If there is a greasy residue from cooking on your cabinets, try Krud Kutter kitchen degreaser all purpose cleaner. It's both food safe and non-toxic. Spray on, leave for a minute, then wipe off. Follow up with Old English furniture polish mentioned previously. Krud Kutter is available from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Krud-Kutter-305373-Degreaser-All-Purpose/dp/B01MRHQG7K/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1541160983&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=krud+kutter&psc=1
I'd use a microfiber cloth (like e-Cloth or Norwex) and just use water to clean. If you haven't seen how these work - look up on Youtube - they are amazing!
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide mixed into a paste. Scrub with a toothbrush. If it's really bad, a wood safe degreaser like GP66 or Fuller.
Washing Up liquid kills grease - use with hot water and a sponge. Then wipe dry and buff.
There is a product called tsp. It will clean off just about anything. However, test it on a small area first to make sure it doesn't damage the finish. Also, use cleaning gloves to protect your hands
TSP or Krud Kutter
Try Murphy’s oil soap and hot water if that doesn’t work add 1/4 cup ammonia to the mix
