Celtic Style Upcycle From Small Cardboard Box

Turn any small cardboard box into a beautiful Celtic style container with nothing more than a knife, hot glue gun and some paint. It's incredibly easy! Great for organizing anything. (More detailed photos/instructions at the link at the bottom.)

Black paint

Silver paint

Measure and cut as desired.
Spray the inside silver.

Using a glue gun make spirals around the box. (More specifics about this on my site but its not difficult.)

How did you treat the edges where you can see the corrigation? Did you just run a bead of the glue on it?

It's difficult for me to reach items on the bottom shelf of my bookcases. I've been thinking of using boxes that I can just pull out. Do you think I could attach some VERY small wheels or rollers if I start with a really sturdy box?

Thanks for the idea. I have a cardboard caddy with a metal handle that held tomatoes. I did not know what to do with it and hated to pitch it. Now I will decorate it.
