I had started collection vintage butter pats a few years. They were all in my china cabinet and couldn't been seen. So, I found this frame for $5.00. I recovered the piece of wood in the back with a piece of linen. It will be necessary to use glue under each piece to keep the butter pats from pulling away the backing.
I just hot glued these to the backing but before I did, I wrote on the back of the backing the inscription from the back so I would remember what each piece was.
