This Hanging Paper Heart craft is so easy. I hung it under the chandelier in the dining room and every time I walk by and see it, I smile. It's the perfect touch for simple Valentine's Day decor. Check out below how to make it!

All you need is card stock or thick paper in the colors of your choice. The heart has 4 sides so I used 4 different but coordinating papers. The other supplies are double sided tape, string, beads and/or buttons, a needle and pinking shears or scissors.

After tracing and cutting out all of your hearts (mine were about 5" tall), adhere half of the back of one paper heart to the back of another with the double sided tape. It's half the back to the other half back. I found this to the the hardest part to figure out. Once you get this done the others go much faster.

Flatten out the hearts and punch a hole through two of the hearts. You'll want to thread the string through the needle but you'll use two strings because some of the buttons have two holes. So in order for them to stay in place, you'll go up one side and down the other. Add the beads or buttons as high as you'd like. Tie a knot in between each bead so it stays in place. Mine was about 18" long so it hung perfectly over the table.

I hung mine from the chandelier but you could make several and hang from windows or the other arms of the chandelier for a mobile look. It turned out so cute that I plan to make some as gifts. I think it would make a cute baby shower or birthday centerpiece too! Happy Valentine's Day! For the complete post, check out the blog!
