This cute Burlap Scarecrow takes no more than a day to create. A friendly face to greet your guests, either on your door or in your entryway. All materials are easily found including some at the dollar store.
Stitch has definitely found a place in my heart.
Start with a foam disc about 2 inches deep by 10 inches wide. Cover with batting and then burlap.
Wrap it all up in a bag and tie it off at the bottom. Doesn't look like much.
I really think the wiggle eyes give him life. Hot glue them on, as well as a felt nose. Play with his expression when it comes to his mouth.. you'll know when it's right.
The craft foam hat can be found at Michaels. If you're daring, you can make your own hat with a sheet of foam.
The bandana was found at the dollar store so were some of these leaves.
Use your imagination to decorate him with corn husks, straw and leaves. If you need step by step, visit the site link on this post.
